The reporter, Mrs. Evelyn Perkins, has written articles regarding Nikki Giovanni, the poet. In June of this year, the Sisters of the Transformation will dedicate a plaque on the property of St. Simon's Church in Lincoln Heights. Individuals who make a donation towards the costs of the plaque will be invited to attend the dedication of the plaque. Ms. Giovonni is expected to be present. About Claude Dallas. Author of Legacy in Poems: Bridging the Gap

Claude is the author of the recently published book, "A Legacy in Poems: Bridging the Gap".
He has skillfully written lessons in raising up a stable, productive family through poems. The family is under attack from many directions. Each person can end a cycle which mediates against the survival of family.

He has written inspirational, reflective and humorous poems and prose for nearly forty years. He began writing the day that his life was transformed in Los Angeles in 1976. Claude's knowledge of science and Christian ministry have become fused into poems of great insight.

He sees himself as a bridge between the past generations and his future progeny. Many of these ancestors sacrificed selflessly so that the accomplishments of today could become a reality. It is his prayer that others, particularly men, can be inspired to express and record their thoughts and inner most feelings in written form. He is a father who stands in the gap as a bridge for his grandchildren and those who our society defines and marginal, oppressed and not reachable. He wanted to fill in the dash for his life. Claude is committed to a life of learning and expanding his talents and abilities.

More than 20 years of professional sales experience with both Pfizer, Inc and 3M Co. He sold fine chemicals to food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies in Los Angeles for Pfizer. He also sold medical products for sterilzation, cancer treatment, respiration, and hospital sanitation for 3M Co in both Los Angeles and Cincinnati to hospitals. He managed multiple departments of a Baltimore, MD Social Services Organization (Martin Polleck) and a portion of World Vision's U.S. Ministries Division.

He started two non-profit organizations: one to plant new churches iin 1993 (Ecclesia). Developed the funds to facilitate the hiring and placement of two Church planters -both in Cleveland and Atlanta. The second non-profit, Agapeland, a christian daycare center project of four Churches.Specialties:
